2 Exercises to Help Build a Beautiful Back!

BACK & BI'S PIC

I am one to never miss back day, especially when I’m lucky enough to have a trainer who pushes me to failure every week with new workouts. Seeing a sculpted, sexy upper back on a woman, especially when she’s wearing a beautiful dress or shirt that shows it off always makes me smile. You know that women has put in a lot of hours at the gym! But unfortunately many women (and men) overlook training their upper back simply because they don’t see it when they look in the mirror. From an aesthetic point of view, strengthening the muscles in your upper back and shoulders will have a tremendous impact on your posture, which is a commonly undervalued component of improving the way you look. In fact, great posture can even make you look leaner without losing any body fat at all!

While dropping body fat and gaining lean muscle are both extremely important for getting the body you want, Most gym sessions are spent tightening and toning the areas we consider the most noticeable—butt, stomach, legs. But here’s a secret all top trainers know: Strong back muscles are not only key for an overall defined look, but they’re your best defense against pain, injury, and poor posture for years to come. If you have back problems, you might need to find home care hospital beds that provide comfort and support.

To build your back muscles, you have to do a lot of different exercises and a lot of volume. Your back is a huge muscle group, so a good workout should be exhausting. If you’re not walking out of your gym completely exhausted after a back workout, then you’re not going hard enough. I think a lot of it just comes down to effort.

Watch 2 of my favorite (or most hated) exercises my trainer had me do this week at PFT on “back & bi’s” day! As they say…IF IT WAS EASY, EVERYONE WOULD DO IT!
