  1. IF YOU KEEP GOOD FOOD IN YOUR FRIDGE YOU WILL EAT GOOD FOOD!

You won’t always have time to prepare your meals ahead of time, but it is so important to always stock your kitchen with quick snacks and healthy ingredients for fast and simple meals. Some of my favorites are Greek yogurt, pre-portioned nuts, fruit, hard-boiled eggs, cut up veggies, or anything on this list.

 

  1. YOUR BODY KEEPS AN ACCURATE JOURNAL REGARDLESS OF WHAT YOU WRITE DOWN!

I am a huge advocate of tracking your foods. There are endless apps for your phone that make tracking your food a piece of cake! Or you can even go old-school with a food diary. You’ll be less likely to pick and nibble if it’s down on a paper in front of you. I like to include my daily weight, workout, and hunger levels on every page. And one of my favorite reasons for keeping a journal is to look back and see what has worked, and what you need to change if your progress slows down.

 

  1. BY FAILING TO PREPARE, YOU ARE PREPARING TO FAIL!

Planning ahead is the secret to success with any nutrition plan. If you think ahead it will make life easier and it will be much less tempting to veer off plan if your meals are there and ready to be eaten. Meal prep for an entire week can be done in just one hour in your kitchen, or there are so many options available today for having someone else do the work for you!

 

Getting back on track after a summer of endless eating and drinking is never easy, but a few days of following these tips will make it much simpler to transition back into your nutrition plan with ease!
