Cheat Clean on Super Bowl Sunday!

super bowl smoothies

Who is now wishing they invited me to their Super Bowl Party? LOL…I found this great idea on one of the many Instagram foodies I follow. It was such a great idea that I just had to try her yummy smoothies. I always love adding veggies to my morning shakes, and these Superfood Smoothies are perfect for anyone trying to squeeze in their daily serving of veggies on one of the worst eating days of the year. Whether you have time to make these today, or save these guilt-free treats for the morning after the game, they taste great and your friends and family will love them too!

Super Food Smoothies for Super Bowl Sunday!

Seahawks Blue
1 cup blueberries
1 handful of spinach
½ banana
¼ cup coconut water
¼ cup unsweetened almond milk

Seahawks Green
1 huge handful spinach
1 cup pineapple
½ banana
¼ cup orange juice

Patriots Red
1 cup strawberries
½ cup raspberries
½ banana
½ cup orange juice

Patriots Blue
1 cup berries
1 handful of baby kale
½ banana
¼ cup coconut water
¼ cup unsweetened almond milk

To add protein to your smoothie, you can use Quest Nutrition Vanilla Milkshake flavored protein powder or 0% plan Greek yogurt. I also added a little Stevia for some extra sweetness. My kids thought these were “so cool.” No matter who is the Super Bowl champs, this recipe is a definite winner!
