Need an idea for dinner tonight? Check out one of my favorite healthy recipes. This diet-friendly meal is packed with good-for-you ingredients — plus, it’s so tasty that it will please your entire family.

 

TheFittChick Homemade Chicken Strips

INGREDIENTS:
– 4 oz raw chicken
– 2 TBSP liquid egg whites
– 2 TBSP almond meal
– ½ tsp garlic powder
– ½ tsp onion powder
– sea salt and pepper to taste
– Parmesan cheese (optional)

 

DIRECTIONS:
1.  Preheat oven to 350.
2.  Cut raw chicken into small pieces or strips.
3.  On a small plate mix almond meal, garlic powder, onion powder, sea salt, and pepper.
4.  Dip chicken into egg and then into almond mixture.
5.  Place chicken on baking sheet coated in nonstick spray.
6.  I like to sprinkle each piece with Parmesan cheese.
7.  Bake for 20 minutes.
8.  Flip chicken and broil for 5 more minutes. You can add more Parmesan cheese here.
9.  Dip into honey mustard or low sugar ketchup.
10. Enjoy!
