I’m heading out on a weekend getaway where I don’t know where we will eat and what will be available. Instead of leaving anything to chance, I am fully stocked with clean eats and healthy snacks!
I always take the time to meal prep for vacations so I never get stuck eating something I wished I hadn’t. Or even worse, end up hungry (which for me means grumpy)!
The menu this weekend will include:
~overnight oats with blueberry syrup
~veggie egg white muffins
~flank steak
~grilled chicken
~sweet potato
~green bean french fries
~huge veggie salads
~Protein cake
~AND…I also brought Greek yogurt, nuts, extra veggies, rice cakes, Quest bars, hard boiled eggs, and lot of bottled water.
Being prepared in situations where you don’t know what will be available is an important part of losing and maintaining your weight. Whether you choose to bring all your meals or just some snacks…being prepared is the key to success!
