Recipe of the Week……

 TheFittChick Frapachino…

       Ingredients

~1 scoop Metabolic Nutrition Chocolate Cake Protein Powder (or any chocolate protein powder you prefer)

~1 cup unsweetened Chocolate Almond Milk

~3 ice cubes (I use 1 cup shaved ice)

~1 truvia for sweetness (I like liquid Sweetleaf drops)

~1 TBSP instant coffee grinds

~Walden Farms Chocolate sauce to taste

~1/2 tsp xanthum gum

~a sprinkle of sea salt

~a sprinkle of cinnamon

~if you like vanilla flavored coffee drinks you can add a drop of vanilla extract

**Put all ingredients in a blender.

**Blend until a thick and a milkshake like consistency.

**The more you blend, the thicker it gets (and you can always add more xanthum gum)

**Enjoy!  This is my favorite new protein shake!

TheFittChick Meatza Pizza

Ingredients:

* 1 1/2 Jennie-O Sweet Italian Turkey

sausage links (I cut off the casing)

* 1 serving light mozzerella cheese

* Hole in the Wall Marinara Sauce

* organic pizza sauce (tiny can)

* 1 egg

* throw away pie pan

~Take sausage and cut out of the casing, and mix it with one egg to hold it together.

~Spray throw away pie pan with cooking spray, and flatten sausage into in to make the crust.

~Bake sausage till almost fully cooked.

~While sausage is baking, mix a 1/4 cup Marinara sauce with 1-2 TBSP pizza sauce (you get the flavor of pizza sauce without all the sugar)

~Once the crust is done, cover with marinara and cheese and finish baking till its cooked till your liking.

~I like to broil the last few minutes, and top with oregano and a little parm cheese!

~Quick and Easy!  Enjoy!

**make it a veggie pizza by adding cooked veggies

**If you like a chunky pizza sauce you can use San Marzano tomatoes, which have no sugar and will taste more like Lou Malnati’s Pizza

**add more sausage on top or pepperoni if you like a really Meaty Pizza
