Depending on your willpower during the week leading up to Valentine’s Day and today, it could take weeks to work off the extra calories you consumed in chocolate, candy, and a romantic dinner ending in more dessert. The good news is that working off your indulgence is easier than you think.
Many people don’t want to run, bike, walk, or swim for hours to break even with their calorie consumption. So what’s the solution? Include compound movements in your workout to burn fat and calories efficiently. This workout uses multiple muscle groups to perform the movements, which means more fat and calories burned. HIIT workouts are my go-to workouts mainly because they are quick and keep your metabolism raised for hours after you’ve finished. What are you doing today to burn off your Valentine’s Day feast?
