WAKE UP STRONGER

New research found that consuming a protein rich snack 30 minutes before bed boosts muscle repair and growth 22% more than going to bed on an empty stomach. Exercise damages muscle tissue, and the amino acids found in lean protein sources helps to repair the damage and make you stronger.

While you sleep the rebuilding process slows down because fewer amino acids are available. With a late night snack that is high in protein, you counteract it and wake up less sore and stronger then yesterday.

If you hit the gym hard, skip the late night ice cream and end your night with a high protein meal. Who wouldn’t want to wake up 22% stronger?
