“Fail to prepare, and prepare to fail.” I know you have heard this time and time again, but it really is true. When it comes to fitness and weight loss, planning it is the key to success.
If you take the time to plan your meals and prep them ahead of time, staying on track will be easy and rewarding. You don’t have to make all your meals for the entire week. My trick is cooking 2 very large meals two nights a week that leave me with tons of leftovers. If I have pounds of roasted veggies and yummy protein ready to go, then that is what I reach for when I’m hungry.
Some of my go-to Sunday prep meals are shredded chicken, roasted veggies, sweet potatoes, hard boiled eggs, and oatmeal. Remember, If you keep good food in your fridge, you will eat good food!
